The 3 day Nalakhar tshechu festival 2024 in Bhutan will be held at the Ngaa lhakhang in the village of Nalakhar, Bumthang. It is one of the popular festivals among the people of Choekhor valley. The people from all over Bumthang come to witness the festival dressed in their finest clothes. This theme of the festival is to bring prosperity and happiness to the community and the country as a whole.

Yes, you will visit the Tiger’s nest monastery (Taktsang) in Paro valley on the 9th day of the itinerary if you book Nalakhar tshechu Bhutan tour.
You can witness colorful festival in the courtyard of Nalakhar temple which is around 500 years old. The mask dances are performed by the monks in honor of Guru Rinpoche, an Indian saint who brought Buddhism to Bhutan. You will also witness folk dances performed by the local village folks.
