The royal government of Bhutan has re-opened tourism from 23rd September 2022. The visitors to Bhutan need not undergo quarantine or RT-PCR test at the port of entry like Paro international airport, Phuentsholing, Geylegphu or Samdrup Jongkhar in southern Bhutan. However, the health officials at the entry point may conduct random tests of the visitors as and when required to detect and control the spread of new COVID-19 variants.
